Not only do we get a new Nintendo Direct today, we also need a new game state later in the day. Today’s demo will be live as always, focusing on Japanese games ahead of this year’s TGS.
Today, September 13 at 3pm PT, 6pm ET, 11pm BSTwe’ll be treated to about 20 minutes of reveal, updates to previously announced games, and new gameplay footage.
In total, the show will feature ten games – for PS4, PS5 and the upcoming PS VR2. While the focus is on Japanese games, Sony says we should expect games from around the world.
The obvious rumor/leak is a remake of the new Silent Hill game or some sort of description. Given how popular the iconic Japanese series is, it makes sense that it’s here — even if the game may not have been developed by a Western studio.
It’s unclear if we should expect to see God of War, as Sony could easily host a dedicated State of Play for the game in the coming weeks and ahead of its November release.
The PS VR2 confirmation is interesting, however, as it could suggest some pricing and release dates will be revealed – although that’s probably unlikely.
