Palworld developer PocketPair released a new patch today that fixes a major bug that allowed people to capture and steal other players’ friends. Additionally, the game will no longer crash and corrupt your save file if you catch more than 7,000 friends. Good news for aspiring Pal hoarders out there.
However, there is some bad news with this patch. If your save file has been affected by the 7,000 pal crash error, then unfortunately it cannot be saved now. PocketPair has announced that it is working to resolve the issue, but as of now, those few of the 19 million Palworld players who have gone to great lengths to capture a staggering number of friends may still be affected.

There are other smaller fixes and additions. Companions will no longer be stuck on walls after a charge attack, which is a universal win. Additionally, side mouse buttons and numeric keypad are also supported, which is great for those PC gamers who still play games.
