A few weeks ago Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 came into our lives to conquer us and join the cause of the Empire. This is excellent work by Saber Interactive, although it is not without errors. It has some points to improve and they are already working on it. In fact, the latest update solves some shortcomings that have been widely complained about by the community.
The most important change is the arrival of Private Groups, something that allows you to play alone or with friends without having to do tricks. Another important change is a considerable improvement to allied NPCs. We already reported from our first impressions that they were very inefficient, so much so that they didn’t even seem to know the mechanics of certain enemies.
The last update of Warhammer 40.000: Space Marine 2 increases the power of our allies: remove several restrictions to make them more efficient in combat, they will focus on helping us fight (they will not go it alone), they can no longer run out of ammunition and should get stuck less frequently. After testing it, we can say that they are indeed now more efficient.
The update has more new features: ultrawide support on PC, improvements to the HUD, balancing of certain weapons (fist, heavy plasma and grenade launcher, among others) and a very important rebalancing of enemies in the campaign and operations mode that affects the difficulties. The number they appear and their attack damage has been touched. Finally, improvements in customization and bug fixes are added.
