Borderlands fans get new material at their fingertips, because Space Punks is a comparable title that is now starting in Early Access.
Flying Wild Hogs Krakau Studio has long been working on space punks, a mix of action role-playing game and looter shooter. The release of the title with sci-fi setting will take place via Jagex Partners and the starting shot for the early access version will be given even before the official release. This is available exclusively from the Epic Games Store for one year.
While the later full version will be playable for free, you have to pay a few dollars for the early access version. You get access via so-called Founders Packs in the Epic Games Store. These are available in the following two variants:
- Show-off package: The basic package for every would-be outsider guarantees early access and unlocks all four main characters. The package also includes a Season 1 Battle Pass for the Open Beta, plus exclusive backgrounds, four emotes, the Epic Cape and the Epic Sprint Effect. Price: 23.99 dollars
- Prosperity Package: The ultimate starter package, only for die-hard scoundrels! In addition to everything that the Show-Off Pack contains, it has other advantages: four epic character skins, one epic player appearance and more. Price: 39.99 dollars
In the action-packed world of Space Punks, you have a large arsenal of firearms, grenades and more at your disposal. Equipped with it, you go on the hunt for what really counts in space: space modeling clay. You get to deal with other outsiders, pirates, scoundrels and monsters.
What happens after Early Access? An open beta test phase is planned for this winter, while a console version of the title will follow in 2022.
