Spec Ops: Line developer Yager has secured investment from Chinese multinational Tencent.

The cash will be used to continue the development of Yager's free shooting game The Cycle (currently in Season 2 and available for purchase on the Epic Games Store) and its release plan.

Tencent invests and has a growing portfolio of game developers and publishers, including Riot Games, Epic Games, Blizzard, Supercell, Platinum and Ubisoft.

"Tencent is not only the world's leading gaming company, but also a prolific investor with outstanding performance: we are honored to join the Tencent partner lineup, just like the celebrity in the gaming industry," Timo CEO Timo Ur Timo Ullmann said. Yag

We recently played The Cycle and found it to be a new look for Royale's combat subtype.
