The well-known Dark Souls speedrunner Distortion2 beat Doom Eternal in an unbelievable 31 minutes and made use of various abbreviations that are not actually intended in the game.
Here's how the player tricked: Distortion2 frequently glitched out of the map to cover large distances through the levels outside the playable area and thus complete the game in 30 minutes and 49 seconds.
