A sequel is in the works

Daniel Cretton will thus be the fourth filmmaker to tackle the Weaver, after Sam Raimi, Marc Webb and Jon Watts, who all made Spider-Man films under the joint banner of Sony and the MCU. And this new installment is set to succeed Jon Watts’ trilogy. The film will be a new collaboration with Sony and Marvel, but it is difficult to discern the broad outlines of the plot. It is not yet known whether the story will continue the story arc initiated with the end of No Way Home. It could also more logically follow “Secret Wars”, in which Spidey could already appear.
