With the Jackery Explorer 1500 Pro you have the perfect companion for the upcoming camping season. We will introduce you to the device in more detail.
In Germany, more and more pitches for campers are being built to experience nature, the country and the people far away from the big cities. However, the pitches are often very simply equipped, so that more and more outdoor enthusiasts are turning to renewable energies and alternative energy sources in order to protect the environment and to always have enough electricity available.
The US manufacturerjackery has made a name for itself worldwide in recent months with its portable solar generators. For the self-sufficient and environmentally friendly supply of electricity, Jackery offers various power stations and solar panels.
Jackery introduced the new Explorer 1500 Pro and 3000 Pro at CES in Las Vegas. Both models are now on the market. Not only should they supply you with electricity for up to five days, but they should also be very quiet. The following link takes you directly to the Jackery online shop.

The Explorer 1500 Pro has a total of seven connections for a wide variety of electrical devices. For example, you can charge smartphones via two USB A ports with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0, while the two USB C ports with Power Delivery with up to 100 watts of power are suitable for your notebook, among other things.
You can use the 12-volt socket to supply a cool box when camping in summer, for example. Fan heaters for cold nights or an electric grill for cozy evenings can also be supplied with electricity via two Schuko sockets with up to 230 volts. The light integrated in the solar generator offers you sufficient visibility even in the dark.
A lithium battery with a capacity of 1,512 watt hours is installed in the power station. It delivers 1,800 watts of nominal power or 3,600 watts at peak. The generator is charged within 9.5 hours via the compatible SolarSaga solar panel with 200 watts. Alternatively, you can use the AC and DC input to charge the power station in just two hours via the socket or alternatively via the car connection.
With dimensions of 38.4 x 26.90 x 30.75 centimeters and a weight of 17 kilograms, the power station can be easily transported using the integrated foldable handle. For use on the road and off-road, the power generator is also shockproof and fire-resistant.
Compared to the previous models, Jackery claims to have improved the handling of waste heat and the operating volume. When charging, the new generator should only reach a volume of 30 decibels. That’s equivalent to a whisper. For comparison, the Explorer 2000 Pro (to the test) reached a normal conversation volume of just under 55 decibels.
Jackery also attaches great importance to safety and has therefore installed eight temperature sensors and an intelligent battery management system in the Explorer 1500 Pro, which, among other things, provide protection against overheating, overvoltage, short circuits and overcharging.
