“Built for life” is one of the spaceships in Star Citizen. The Starlancer appears cozy and homely in the trailer. The name is pure nostalgia. Because Starlancer is actually a space shooter from the year 2000 designed by Erin Roberts (the brother of Star Citizen creator Chris Roberts). In contrast, the new video for the space MMO is downright peaceful. Because the new Starlancer, at least in the MAX version, is a freighter that cruises relaxed through space and is designed for long distances and a large loading capacity with a small four-person crew. So pretty much exactly what Serenity was in the legendary sci-fi series Firefly. There is also the better armed TAC variant. More interested in single player? There’s over an hour of gameplay for Squadron 42. If you want to secure one of the two spaceships in the finished game and the alpha version of Star Citizen, the Starlancer that can be purchased with in-game credits forever, you can do so in the shop for 249 and 326 respectively since the Citizencon, which was full of announcements strike dollars.
