- “Star Trek: Lower Decks” season 4 will also start in late summer. Then “Prodigy” season 2 will start in winter.

The popular sci-fi series “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds” enters the second round. The start date for the new episodes has finally been announced. The release will take place on 15. June 2023 on streaming service Paramount+. Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 3 has also been officially confirmed.
Since Paramount+ is now also available in Germany, the release of the new season in Germany will take place parallel to the US start. Although Star Trek: Picard season 3 is currently released on Fridays, we assume that Strange New Worlds will be released on Thursdays like in the US.
The fact that “Star Trek: Picard” always appears in Germany one day after the US start is due to the fact that the series is also distributed on Amazon Prime Video in this country. Strange New Worlds is exclusive to Paramount+.
In addition, fans of the “Star Trek” universe can look forward to “Star Trek: Lower Decks” Season 4 following “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds” Season 2 in late summer 2023. The series has also been renewed for a fifth season.
The new season of the children’s series “Star Trek: Prodigy” awaits us in winter. Unlike “Star Trek: Lower Decks” and “Strange New Worlds”, however, this series was not renewed for a new season.
