May 4th aka "May the Fourth" is considered an unofficial Star Wars Day worldwide. This is also why the latest movie started today on the Disney + streaming service – and gamers also have reason to be happy. EA and Respawn Entertainment donate the current Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order today a free content update.
This patch gives you the opportunity to face fresh challenges in a new game mode. You can also play through the story again with all collectibles you have already received, collect fresh cosmetic objects for Cal and BD-1 and more.
Most of the update is the new gameplay center called Meditation Training. You open a new game mode menu via the game's meditation points to face combat challenges where Cal has to fight waves of opponents and bosses. In addition, meditation training with the combat grid introduces a sandbox if you want to create your own battles. Here you can choose a location, size the battle, adjust various difficulty modifiers and face some really unique opponents.
The meditation training modes mentioned above will be unlocked when you complete your first Jedi journey through the story and restart your adventure with a new mode called New Journey + with all cosmetic collectibles already unlocked. In the course of Neue Reise +, some unique cosmetic objects such as the Inquisitor's Uniform with matching red lightsaber crystals will also be unlocked. In addition to new cosmetic components for your lightsaber, you will also find skins for BD-1.
