On the occasion of today’s release of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Electronic Arts has come up with a very special treat and the fans are going wild.
Today is the day, the long-awaited Star Wars Jedi: Survivor celebrates its release for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. So that everyone really gets it, EA has come up with a new advertising clip.
The promo clip shows Cal actor Cameron Monaghan mo-capturing and getting his tips from none other than Luke Skywalker aka Mark Hamill himself. Funny thing and of course a real treat for fans. Some humorous interludes should not be missing, such as Hamill’s irritation when he notices that Cal is getting two lightsabers or when Monaghan wants to explain to him how to use the Force at the end of the game.
Unsurprisingly, fans are going wild in the comments – smart move Electronic Arts. Today will show whether the game is just as good. In the first tests, including ours, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was fully convincing in terms of play and content. However, there are obviously flaws in the technical implementation and here again especially in the PC version, which is said to have severe performance problems.
Yesterday, EA announced that there would be a Day 1 patch for the launch and that further updates are planned for the coming weeks. At least it is comforting that it is now known that the game will have New Game Plus from the launch and a photo mode is also included at the start.
