Star Wars and Respawn fans want to jump into this world Star Wars Jedi: Survivor The moment it goes live, it might be a disappointment to learn that it had some big performance issues at launch. Issues caused by poor technical performance also plagued the first game, Jedi Knight: Fallen Order.
Despite being exclusive to the current generation, it looks like players will still have to live with some bugs and performance issues if they play it anytime so on.
EA’s official Star Wars Twitter account posted a tweet on Wednesday (sometime after the review went live), promising that the game’s first patch would arrive on launch day, April 28. However, this is just the beginning, as you can expect more patches “in the coming weeks.”
Said updates will bring bug fixes, performance improvements, and add more accessibility features.

Despite its overall high ratings on OpenCritic and elsewhere, many reviews cite performance issues with the game. However, the problem is more pronounced on PC.
YouTuber Skill Up noted on Twitter that they were having trouble hitting a locked 60fps on a PC with an RTX 4090 and an AMD 5950x, calling the port “a mess.” He also warned players not to buy the game until we see if tomorrow’s patch will make things better.
It struggles to maintain 40 fps on the 2080ti/3700x, and my 4090/5950x can’t maintain a solid 60 fps. There’s also a game-breaking audio bug atm that ruins every cutscene. A PC patch is planned for release on the 28th. It is recommended to wait until the impact of this patch is confirmed.

Very disappointing to hear, especially as Jedi: Survivor has been delayed for about a month, specifically to allow Respawn to spend more time polishing it. With that in mind, performance issues didn’t stop me from enjoying the PC version of Jedi: Fallen Order in 2019 when I reviewed it, so your tolerance may vary.
If you’re keen to play the game as soon as it’s unlocked, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is live on all platforms worldwide. And, in case you missed it, check out Connor’s review of the PS5 version.
