It was added to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor included it right from the start: New Game Plus. What can you expect from the popular game variant?
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order should keep players busy for the coming weeks and months. And so that you don’t get bored, a game mode is included from the start this time, namely New Game Plus. This has now been confirmed by Electronic Arts on the EA Star Wars Twitter channel.
Instead of submitting the mode after a few months like its predecessor, it will be available for tomorrow’s launch on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
As usual, you can start New Game Plus as soon as you’ve played through the game once. You can then start a new save where all previous progress will be carried over, including skills and perks, combat styles, and cosmetic items.
Three additional perks should then spice up the gameplay. “Purity” increases the damage of enemies and companions, “Warrior” replaces normal enemies with harder variants and “Trendsetter” randomly changes your cosmetic items with each respawn.
Along with the highly entertaining campaign (more details on that in our Star Wars Jedi: Survivor review), you’ve got plenty to do. Now all that remains is to hope that the technology doesn’t put a spanner in the works. According to some tests, the PC version in particular is said to have severe performance problems – which unfortunately we have not yet been able to verify, as we have only had the PS5 version available for testing so far. In any case, EA has already announced several patches, including a Day 1 update.
