Star Wars Outlaws officially launches today, having entered Early Access earlier this week for players who purchased the Special Edition of the game. Massive Entertainment is marking the occasion with a PC hotfix designed to make your interstellar adventures even smoother.

PC stability wasn’t the only issue the studio and Ubisoft had to deal with when launching Outlaws, with the latter providing compensatory items to some PS5 players who were forced to restart their saves following a major patch for that platform.

A tweet from the studio this morning said that hotfix V1.1.1 is “coming soon” for PC, which will include “VRAM improvements” and “overall stability improvements” for the game on that platform.

Massive added: “Thank you for continuing to share your feedback with us – we hear you, and we’re working hard to ensure the Outer Rim is the best place for you to explore!”

So, there you have it. Now you should be able to run around the universe with ease. If you’re like many players on the game’s subreddit, you’ve probably spent a lot of time photographing the appearances of Kay’s sidekick, Nix. Seriously, you could collect almost an entire album of his photos today just by flipping through them.

To be fair, that’s a little more understandable than someone hell-bent on photographing stormtroopers to highlight how bright their shiny helmets look in the light. Look, let’s just say that the last person who was seen hanging around an Imperial garrison and was spotted as some kind of helmeted paparazzi was probably chased out by blasters that obviously didn’t hit them.

Watch out, Wes. Only take selfies with your sleeping pet.
