A newly released roadmap outlines when we can expect expansions to the upcoming Star Wars Outlaws.
Star Wars Outlaws from Ubisoft will be released at the end of August and is set to cause a sensation. As is well known, there will be two additional pieces of content available for selected players at launch: “Jabba’s Gambit” and a character pack. In addition, Ubisoft has already planned two expansions for the sci-fi epic. A roadmap that has now been published shows when we can expect the corresponding releases.
While buyers of the Season Pass will receive the “Kessel Runner Character Pack” and the “Jabba’s Gambit” mission at launch, the first story expansion called “Wild Call” will be available later this year. The release of this first major DLC package is planned for fall 2024 and will also be accompanied by two new cosmetic bundles: “Hunter’s Legacy” and “Cartel Ronin”.
In this first add-on, Kay is hired to infiltrate the Sabacc Tournament. There she meets the notorious gambler and cult figure Lando Calrissian. The two cosmetic packs bring additional outfits for Kay and Nix as well as for Kay’s speeder and her ship, the Trailblazer.
The second story expansion will not be released until next year, 2025, and is planned for spring 2025. It will be called “A Pirate’s Fortune”. Here, Kay meets the pirate Hondo Ohnaka, who wants to settle old scores with a pirate gang.
Star Wars Outlaws will be released on August 30, 2024 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
