BioWares MMOROG Star Wars: The Old Republic is still alive and kicking. The next expansion called Legacy of the Sith now has a release date that is quite soon.
Electronic Arts and Bioware announced in a live stream yesterday by the development team that Legacy of the Sith, the upcoming expansion of Star Wars: The Old Republic, will be released on December 14th.
Some Legacy of the Sith content was also featured on the livestream, including new story content revealing the ultimate plan of the renegade Sith Darth Malgus, fighting styles to expand options for gamers, and various usability improvements. The launch of Legacy of the Sith also marks the start of the game’s 10th anniversary celebrations, which will span all of next year 2022.
The latest expansion of Star Wars: The Old Republic continues the story of Star Wars and sends you on a campaign to secure a planet important to their grouping, in the course of which you uncover the ultimate plan of the renegade Sith Lord Darth Malgus. In addition to new story content, the expansion offers a number of improvements to the game experience, including the new fighting styles feature with even more options, as well as various upgrades to the user experience.
