News at igamesnews.com Starfield Outshines the Competition LaPetitePelle records iGamesNews.com – #478
It’s Sunday and with it the return of La Petite Pelle. And after its announcement more than a week ago, Starfield is still on everyone’s lips.
Starfield was announced on June 11 during a 45-minute live broadcast. Since that event, players have been so impatient for the title that they forget about the other announcements of the week. Starfield is indeed Bethesda’s most ambitious game. It has been in development since 2015 and will be available by the end of the year with a delay of several months. A long wait, especially since it’s the first time in twenty years that the studio isn’t offering such big projects outside of The Elder Scrolls Online and Fallout franchises. The space game features an open world where you can explore more than 1000 planets. You can build your own base and upgrade your weapons. The project of making an RPG of this magnitude isn’t new, as Todd Howard, head of the studio, told the Xbox Showcase: “We’ve had the opportunity to make the kinds of titles we love for decades (… )” And in all that time, we’ve talked and dreamed about the “space game” a lot.” As a reminder, the game will be released on September 6, 2023 and will be available on PC, Xbox Series, and Xbox One.
