Starfield may not be a graphic showcase, but it can still delight our retinas when the stars are well aligned. This 8K video proves it.
Almost a year after its release, Starfield is about to return to the forefront, especially thanks to its first DLC, Shattered Space, expected in September. In the meantime, Digital Dreams offers us a journey into Bethesda’s space RPG that is well worth seeing.
A trip to Starfield with stars in your eyes
Even if the new version of Bethesda’s Creation Engine can produce nightmarish visions in Starfield, the title remains overall pleasant to look at. As with all the studio’s other games, we can count on mods to improve what can be improved. Digital Dreams demonstrates this with a video that shows the game at its best in 8K thanks to around fifty mods.
These include ENBs or reshades to change the overall visual atmosphere of the game. The video also introduces an excellent Starfield mod: Natural and atmospheric space. Without compromising on performance, it brings more natural colors and lighting to the Bethesda title. Finally, Digital Dreams adds a personal touch with its traditional “Beyond All Limits” preset.
All this together and taking into account NVIDIA technologies such as Ray Tracing or DLSS 3 means that Starfield has little to be ashamed of graphical failures like Cyberpunk 2077 on a NASA PC. Digital Dreams actually shows a very powerful configuration: RTX 4090, Ryzen 9 7950X, 64 GB RAM and Samsung 970 Evo for the SSD. A ship that not everyone can afford, of course, but which nevertheless allows us to have a very nice journey between the stars of Starfield.
