Just look at the list of video game releases to see why 2023 is an especially exciting year. Starfield is one of the most anticipated promises and any information is always appreciated, even if it doesn’t reveal too much about the game.
Bethesda Games Studios has activated the support or help page Dedicated to Starfield. It didn’t take long for the web to be reviewed from top to bottom in search of anything new. There is not too much, although there is something: Starfield reaffirms its intention to go on the market in the “first half” of 2023.
What is the release date for Starfield? Starfield is coming exclusively to Xbox Series X/S and PC in the first half of 2023.
This news is especially exciting after seeing how most big games have delayed its release date at least once, including Starfield himself. Also, Bethesda’s open worlds are always greeted with much anticipation. The result is something else. Ahem, Fallout 76, ahem.
It is little, but less is nothing. Starfield has been in development for years and Microsoft’s hand in Bethesda could be an improvement over anything seen so far by the company. For now, there are reasons to be confident.
And it is not surprising that some people find it difficult to trust, because we are talking about a project that can be compared (saving the distances) to others like No Man’s Sky, Elite Dangerous or Star Citizen. We’ll see how it ends. At the moment, Starfield looks very, very promising.
