Even though the reviews from fans and the press were not overwhelmingly positive, Starfield enjoys a very active community. They naturally want to be entertained and with Shattered Space we already know about the first DLC, but that was obviously not the end of the content for the space role-playing game.
Now you’ll be surprised, after all Shattered Space hasn’t been released yet and we’re already talking about a second expansion for Starfield. Nothing has been officially confirmed in this regard to clarify that. However, a new entry in the US Patent and Trademark Office now suggests that Bethesda is working on another expansion.

Twitter user Timur222 (I will never write X voluntarily) has now made the discovery public. Bethesda has filed a trademark application for a name that could make fans’ ears ring. The patent legally secures the company’s right to use the title “Starborn”.
Why should this name sound familiar to all Starfield fans? The Starborn are a group in the space role-playing game. It could therefore be conceivable that the possible second expansion will focus on the group. That would not be an unusual approach for DLCs.
It will probably be some time before we get a firm confirmation of a second Starfield expansion. After all, Shattered Space has to be released first. But Bethesda’s game director and executive producer, Todd Howard, is by no means opposed to fresh content for the game. At least he has stated in the past that expansions for Starfield could be released annually if he had his way.
