Spider-Man Remastered: Announcement trailer for the popular superhero’s PC appearance
The friendly neighborhood spider will soon save the world (or at least New York) on the PC: Marvel’s Spider-Man and Miles Morales make the leap from Sony’s Playstation to Steam and Epic – and very soon. Insomniac Games’ open-world hit will follow God of War and Uncharted also brought to the home computer. We provide you with all the information.

Release: When will Spider-Man Remastered and Miles Morales be released?
Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered is out on 12. August 2022 on PC, Miles Morales then follows in Herbst 2022. According to Sony’s State of Play, fans don’t even have to wait two months before they can swing through New York with Peter Parker on their home computer, while his protégé follows suit later.
It is currently not known when advance sales and preload will start.
Platforms: What will Spider-Man be available on?
Spider-Man and Miles Morales will both appear on PC Steam as well as in Epic Games Store to be available. At the time this article was published, however, no product pages were available on the relevant platforms, so fans will have to be patient for a little longer.

After the original release of Spider-Man for the PS4, the game appeared as a remastered version for the Playstation 5. Of course, this went hand in hand with the release of the Miles Morales spin-off. The remaster is now porting to PC in August, meaning all story DLC and additional suits will be included from the start.

There are currently no concrete details on the advantages of the PC version. So far, in official blog post only teased a few additional features for the home computer. With this and also in view of the improvements of previous PC ports, we are counting on features such as ray tracing. More information will follow.

What about Spider-Man 2?
Continuation already in progress: Insomniac is currently working on a sequel to Marvel’s Spider-Man, due for release in 2023 for PlayStation 5. From a PC version of Spider-Man 2 is not mentioned so far. However, in view of previous ports, it cannot be ruled out that this will also come to home computers at some point.
In the sequel to the open world hit, Peter Parker and Miles Morales are said to be dealing with Venom and Kraven the Hunter, among others. All other information about Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 can be found with our colleagues at GamePro.
Wolverine also gets its own game: In addition, Insomniac Games is currently still working on it Marvel’s Wolverine. The game about the Canadian X-Man and mutants should appear in 2023 – and also for the Playstation 5. There are currently no concrete details, gameplay or a release date.
