Every year on Steam, the coveted Steam Awards are presented to successful titles from the past year. Now the winners of the 2019 edition have been determined – with the big winner Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.

Since 2016, Valve has let players vote for the best games on their own sales platform in various categories in the past year. Since it is an audience award, the results are of course of greater importance. Now the winners of the Steam Awards 2019 have been determined.
The big winner of this year's vote is the action game Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice by From Software, because it won the Game of the Year award and thus won the king category of the vote. The game prevailed against Resident Evil 2 Remake and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. After the success at The Game Awards 2019, it is the next major award for Sekiro with increased importance.
Beat Saber was recognized as the best VR game of the year, A Plague Tale: Innocence received the award for the best story-driven game. You can find the nominees and winners of all other categories below; the winner is marked in bold.
