Valve has made its very own annual review accessible on Steam and in this context also provides an overview of the best-selling PC games of the end of 2019 – at least as far as Steam as a sales platform is concerned. And since Steam – despite the Epic Games Store – is still the most important digital distribution platform on the PC, these charts have a lot of weight.
The most frequently sold PC games in 2019 are therefore – without further ranking -:
- Total War: Three Kingdoms
- Destiny 2
- The Elder Scrolls Online
- Dota 2
- PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds
- Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
- Monster Hunter World
- Grand Theft Auto 5
- Rainbow Six Siege
- Warframe
- Civilization 6
- Counter Strike: Global Offensive
The ranking includes GTA V, PUBG or Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, real long-running favorites and long-standing representatives, but also newcomers like Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice have made the leap.
Valve also selects the most successful titles in other categories, such as the best-selling new releases or the most successful VR games. You can get an overview procured here directly on Steam
The annual winter sale with huge discounts will continue to run on Steam until January 2, 2020.
