Steam is shaken up because suddenly a sought-after action role-playing game is available. Almost out of nowhere it has now stormed the Steam charts.

The US indie studio Supergiant Games has delivered a real hit game for PC and consoles with the roguelike title Hades and a successor has already been announced.
Supergiant Games even released Hades 2 as an early access version for PC at the beginning of May, in the Epic Games Store and on Steam. The title promptly catapulted itself to the top of the sales charts on Steam.
PC gamers are rushing into the game and have already given it thousands of very good ratings on Valve’s gaming platform.
In Hades 2 you play as Melinoe, the immortal princess of the underworld and heat up opponents from the Greek mythical world with different, colorful special attacks. The trailer embedded above gives you a foretaste.

Hades 2 will also be released for consoles in the future. Supergiant Games doesn’t name any specific platforms, but you can assume a release for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. As soon as a release date is set, you will find it in our game release list.
