Game news Steelrising: Spiders Reveals Release Window and Battle Preview
Steelrising was announced last year and is the new production from Spiders, the French studio behind Greedfall. This time around, we’re moving away from the RPG action to move on to a title that is more soul-oriented. During Nacon Connect, Spiders revealed a fairly clear release window and some new recordings.
Jehanne Rousseau, founder and creative director of the studio, announced today that Steelrising will be available on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series in June 2022. The exact date has yet to be set, but we got a new trailer, Highlighting the universe and the struggles of the title. The latter takes place in an uchronic Pariswhile the revolution of 1789 is in full swing. In this alternate version the world already has automats, and the players will embody one called Agis. Commissioned by Queen Marie-Antoinette, he has to cross Paris to help the revolutionaries. Unfortunately, King Louis XVI also has his machine armywhich led to many arguments that we are told as demanding and particularly nervous. Equipped with a strong artistic bias, the title was also illustrated that evening through a series of works highlighting the design of certain machines that will cross the gamblers street as well as the universe. The proposal seems to be intriguing to the public, it remains to be seen whether the gameplay lives up to the proposal.
