Cat lovers are sure to have the game on their radar for a long time, given that it was originally supposed to be out last year. Stray finally has an official release date.
Cats work great in video, so why not in game? The French developer BlueTwelve and Annapurna Interactive had already announced the title Stray for PC and Playstation in 2020 and the thing was actually supposed to be released last year. But as is so often the case, Stray has also been postponed.
But there was good news in yesterday’s State of Play, because Stray finally has a date: the game is scheduled to be released for PC and Playstation on July 19, 2022. Apart from that, it will also be part of the new PS Plus.
Stray takes place in a post-apocalyptic city that has been more or less abandoned by humans. Instead, it’s teeming with human-like robots. In the middle of this city, which is not at all pet-friendly, you play as a cat, of all things. According to the new trailer, puzzles, exploration and finding paths seem to be the focus, but interaction with the mechanical inhabitants of the world is also not neglected.
