With the recent release of Streets of Rage 4, the license has returned to center stage. The opportunity to, perhaps, rediscover the music of the first opuses, composed by Yûzô Koshiro and Motihoro Kawashima.
Indeed, the label Wayô Records announced he was going, in the month of June, re-edit the music for Streets of Rage and Streets of Rage 2, released in 1991 and 1992 respectively. For each game, buyers have the choice between two options: a cassette version, sold for € 10.50, and a CD version, available for € 15. In both cases, the list of songs is the same:
