Still can’t shake the disappointment of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League? Well, if you like famous DC titles, we have something to ease your pain this year… as long as you like anime.
Suicide Squad: Alien’s title is clear enough and it debuted a long time ago, but we’re finally getting closer to the still-unclear summer 2024 release window. So here’s a new trailer filled with familiar-looking mayhem, but at least a few things we’ve never seen before.

I mean, none of us could have predicted Harley Quinn and company. (Peacemaker is also present) are transported to a f antasy world where they fight (and often murder) beastmen and other enemies. It remains to be seen how much of the actual story will take place in the cartoonish DC Universe, though, as it’s also been heavily showcased in the previews released so far.
Most plot details are still under wraps, but we can deduce a few more details from this new trailer, including the existence of orcish hospitality and the war between the Great Kingdoms and the Empire. Do they have to work their way out of this mess and find their way home, or is there a hidden agenda at play? With the addition of Joker and Amanda Waller, you never know.
“Suicide Squad: Another World” is produced by WIT Studio (the first three seasons of Attack on Titan), produced by Warner Bros. Japan, directed by Eri Ohta (Obata), and Tappei Nagatsuki (Re:Zero series) serves as the series composition and script) and Eiji Umehara ( Vivy: Song of the Fluorite Eyes), plus character designs by Naoto Hosoda (Shuffle!) based on sketches by manga artist Akira Amano (Psycho-Pass).
