This is what you might see when you play the final episode.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is taking its final breaths. With episode 8 of the fourth season, the final content for the failed multiplayer game from Rocksteady has now been released.
But instead of disappearing silently into the digital ether, Suicide Squad allows itself a neat story twist. The update not only includes new equipment and quests, but also delivers a surprise ending. You have to decide for yourself whether it was worth it.

AAA rivets, layoffs, greed: these were the worst trends of 2024
And in the end they…!
In case it's not obvious, here's the clear hint again: Spoiler Alert! If you want to experience the spectacle yourself, take a quick look at another GameStar article.
Episode 8 reveals that all your work was completely in vain. Because instead of gradually taking on the Justice League, you've been cutting your teeth on silly clones the whole time. Yes, that includes Batman too. He was never dead.
While Brainiac created the clones, he lurked in the shadows, watching your every antics, waiting for his big moment. The real Justice League only shows up at the end to finish off Brainiac. However, one member is missing: Wonder Woman. This was the only one that wasn't manipulated by Brainiac and died at the hands of the fake Superman.
The whole thing is presented in a simple comic format with voice-over, because the reduced budget no longer allows for impressive cutscenes for the latest updates.

So in the end everything stays the same: the good guys win, the bad guys… don't. The final comic sequence also shows that the Suicide Squad will continue to wreak havoc on the Elsewords universes as a team. But at least not in this game anymore.
As the saying goes: Better an ending with horror than a horror without end. After this episode, live support for Kill the Justice League will be discontinued. Players can then still fight with the clones on the streets of Metropolis in offline mode. You just won't be able to count on new content anymore.
