Summer Games Festival 2022 Just around the corner, organizers announced today that 30 developers and publishers will be taking part in an event celebrating all things gaming.
Hosted by Geoff Keighley, the show will showcase world premieres, trailers, news and updates from developers and gaming platforms.
Last year’s Summer Game Festival live event took place on June 10, and included the global game debut of FromSoftware’s Elden Ring, Death Stranding: Director’s Cut on PS5, and announcements for Tiny Tina’s Wonderland. Ryan Reynolds, Jeff Goldblum and Giancarlo Esposito also made appearances, along with performances by Weezer and Japanese Breakfast.

Summer Games Festival Live featuring Developer Day: SGF Edition returns on Thursday, June 9th, with a live stream in Los Angeles at 11am PT, 2pm ET, 7pm UK.
You’ll be able to listen on all major streaming platforms including YouTube, Twitch, Twitter and Facebook. This stream will also be available in the creator’s co-stream. You can also go to local IMAX theaters in the US, Canada and the UK to watch live.
also, Developer Day: SGF Edition Showcasing the world premiere of a brand new IP from ustwo Games (creators of Monument Valley), as well as the world premiere of the next game from Michael Frei and Raphael Munoz. Plus a brand new trailer and some news about Gummy Cat’s Bear and Breakfast, plus more announcements from some fresh and familiar developers. Developers include Coin Crew Games, Ewoud van der Werf, Florian Veltman & Baptiste Portefaix, HiWarp, Madison Karrh, Max Inferno, Shared Memory, Soda Den, Two Star Games and Wishfully.
The showcase will also feature games from asobu, a community that aims to support and promote Japanese indie game development and Japanese games overseas.
