Super Nintendo World will open next year at Universal Studios Hollywood.
Back in 2015, Nintendo partnered with theme parks to create attractions based on its games and IP.
The first park attraction opened in Osaka, Japan on February 4 last year. It was originally scheduled to open at the same time as the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, but plans were scrapped due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Construction on the Hollywood and Orlando locations was halted due to the pandemic, but it appears that progress is being made at least on the Hollywood attraction.
The attraction is expected to open in Orlando sometime in 2025.
Not long ago, Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto offered a 15-minute tour of the Osaka location to see what to expect from the park. You can also take a virtual tour here.
