Nintendo recently confirmed the next DLC character for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate in a direct special edition of the game. Subsequently, as part of a second Fighter Pass, more DLC characters will follow – and possibly the next one could actually be Crash Bandicoot.

Rumors of speculation about the DLC characters for the successful switch brawler Super Smash Bros. Ultimate are spreading like sand on the net. The chaff can rarely be separated from the wheat, because in many cases the supposed leaks mostly turn out to be an absolute humbug. Here and there, however, insiders were right, and that is exactly the reason why we could really have the cult character Crash Bandicoot next.
With Byleth, Nintendo recently confirmed the final fifth character of the first Fighter Pass to the game. The name of the protagonist from Fire Emblem: Three Houses – unlike others – was rarely seen in previous leaks, also because many fans assumed that another character from Fire Emblem could not find its way into the game.
crash comes directly after the first challenger pack;)

TwitterUsers MandyCan however, as early as October, correctly predicted that the fifth DLC fighter would actually be Byleth. Like many other supposed leaks, you didn't really believe that much of his time, but a few months later Nintendo Byleth has actually confirmed it – and that brings us to Crash Bandicoot.
In the same context said MandyCan even back then that there would be more characters afterwards – and Nintendo meanwhile confirmed a second fighter pass. And: The sixth DLC character is said to be Crash Bandicoot.
this is my last tweet regarding any leak until crash is revealed for Fighter Pack 6.

It remains to be seen whether the Twitter-User with Byleth has just landed a coincidence or really has the relevant information. Now, however, the Fire Emblem protagonist comes into play on January 28 and there will be some time before the next fighter is officially announced. Until then, you should therefore continue to consider this message as what it is: a rumor, albeit one that you can now believe much more than in October 2019.
