The actor himself doesn’t seem to want to put the costume down. Many rumors suggest that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson heard the clamor of fans wanting more Cavill in the DCEU and spoke directly to Warner to “advocate for it.” Especially as the calls to see “Superman Cavill” in the movie are landing Black Adam
Henry Cavill finally back in a Superman movie?
The ever-informed podcast editor David Faraci miracle vision asserts that some “behind-the-scenes” evidence suggests Warner Bros. are making another film superman with Henry Cavill. Or at least that a movie is in the works, thanks in particular to actor Dwayne Johnson’s negotiations. Faraci explained that Johnson pressured Warner to approach the actor. Obviously, there’s big money at stake, too, and the production could certainly have felt something positive about offering the actor the red cape again.

He urged Warner Bros. that they go to Henry Cavill and sign a new contract with Henry Cavill, specifically saying that they will be developing a new Superman movie. And all because The Rock insisted.
