Supermassive Games is working on another horror game, a single-player game based on Behavior Interactive dead by daylight universe.
The interactive story game from the studio behind Until Dawn, Anthology of Shadows, and The Quarry will offer players an “intense narrative experience.”
In this game, you can look forward to making life-or-death choices against the backdrop of Dead by Daylight. More information on the project will be announced later this year.
The game is just one of several projects in development that promise to push the boundaries of the Dead by Daylight world. These projects promise to expand Mythos beyond the core game.
Since joining the Behavior Interactive family, the Midwinter Entertainment team has been working on a new game set in the Dead by Daylight universe. This multiplayer PvE game focuses on greed and thirst for power, with teams of up to four players in a strange new corner of The Entity’s Realm.
Behavior also provides an update on the Dead by Daylight movie in development.
Back in March, the group announced a partnership with Hollywood studios Atomic Monster and Blumhouse to develop a feature film adaptation of Dead by Daylight. Director and screenwriter are currently being hired, with more details to be announced soon.
Meanwhile, the core game will launch a sci-fi horror expansion called End Transmission on June 13. In it, you’ll explore a new map on a mysterious planet with the remains of an ancient civilization and take on a new killer, The Singularity.
Nicolas Cage will also appear as a new survivor and provide more information about his addition to The Entity’s Realm on July 5th.
Over the next year, you can look forward to four new chapters of the game and two additional survivor-only chapters. Two licensed killers join the game, and in January 2024, the last survivor-only chapter will be released. Finally, before the next anniversary, original chapters will also be available.
