Disney Dreamlight Valley could have a big surprise in store for you in the future. Iconic and unexpected licenses could soon add a little more magic to the game.
Since its release from Early Access in December 2023, Disney Dreamlight Valley has been continuously improving. Gameloft regularly enriches the experience of its management game, which combines adventure, mystery and iconic characters, with numerous updates and content. For example, the latest patch added two heroes highly requested by the community: Mulan and Mushu. The publisher has no intention of stopping there, and it may be that some of the next worlds and their new arrivals have already been revealed in advance.
Unexpected licenses in Disney Dreamlight Valley?
Over the past two years, gamers have been able to try out a wealth of content, all inspired by various Disney and Pixar licenses. Many characters have been added, but Gameloft hasn’t ventured into other areas for now. Avatar, Star Wars, Marvel, there’s no shortage of properties purchased by the white-gloved mouse. However, this could change in the future. In a survey sent to some members of the community, Gameloft asks fans about the next faces they would like to see in Disney’s Dreamlight Valley.
Cinderella, Robin Hood and Cars are mentioned as a matter of course, but to everyone’s surprise, the publisher also mentions Star Wars and even the Muppets as possible additions. If the players invited to answer this questionnaire select these two franchises, Gameloft then asks them how they would like to see the integration of Disney Dreamlight Valley. The possibilities currently being considered are quests, clothing, new worlds and DLC. As for the characters, the publisher already seems to have some ideas in mind. grog from “The Mandalorian” (but if you know, “Baby Yoda”) is mentioned for the Star Wars part, when Kermit The frog and piggy the pig are all for the Muppets.
This is not the first time Gameloft has surveyed the community’s interest in possible new features of Disney Dreamlight Valley. For example, at the beginning of the year, the developers asked fans whether or not they were interested in the return of the exclusive Paths of Stars rewards in the premium store.
