Tower of Fantasy has been trending in a major way since its launch last week, and character creation is a big plus for the upcoming players exploring the world. Some of the more creative are even uploading their custom skins to the in-game character lobby, allowing you to dress up as well-known characters like Sasuke from Naruto, Gerald from Fairy Tail and… Adolf Hitt.
For now, Hitler (and we could say Charlie Chaplin) is one of some of the most popular preset characters in the game. They are currently ranked 13th among male characters and 41st out of 5,209 favorites. This puts them over 2B in Nier Automata, Naruto and Demon Slayer’s Tanjiro.
This means that now you are at home – yes, you – can see the world as the most evil person in the world. I actually saw Hitler in the Tower of Fantasy. I sat and watched as he struggled to throw water cores at the Chowchow plant for about 3 minutes, then dashed over to fend off some hyenas. Let me tell you, you didn’t play Tower of Fantasy until you saw the leader of the Third Reich doing aerial combos in frozen time.
Of course, in Tower of Fantasy, there’s a lot more to do than just watch the player playing Hitler traverse the world of the anime. You can view constellations through hidden telescopes scattered across the map, build and use powerful relics, and collect a variety of weapons with far less scary characters you can dress up as.
For now, Tower of Fantasy will have to wait and see what happens to the anime Hitler. Will he slowly degenerate into irrelevance like most anime characters our crew doesn’t know? Will he keep his position on the second page of the most popular list, or God forbid, will he start to climb? We’ll have to wait and see.
