Portal: Companion Collection It’s back at today’s Nintendo Direct again, only this isn’t just a new trailer – the game is out now! The series includes two Portal games, which were announced back in February.
Just like the original news came from nowhere, today’s falling shadow is also a big surprise. You’ll start seeing it available on the Nintendo eShop worldwide at the end of the Direct for $20.
The Portal game is a Valve classic and is widely regarded as one of the best puzzle games of all time. The game takes place in an Aperture Science facility, where the goal is to solve increasingly complex puzzles that defy the physics of space in order to escape. Of course, all of this involves using a portal.
Developed by Lightspeed Studio, a subsidiary of Tencent Games, the series marks the first time the series has landed on the Nintendo platform.
