The highly acclaimed PC survival horror game Monstrum will be available next month.
Team Junkfish's survival horror game was first released on PC in 2015 Monstrum It will land on PlayStation 4, Switch and Xbox One on May 22.
The highly acclaimed game will be released in digital form, and due to issues related to COVID-19, the actual release has been delayed until later.
In the game, you wake up on a cargo ship without remembering how you touched the abandoned ship. Here, you are chased by a predator and you must find clues and tools on board to find a way to escape.
The only way for you to survive is to "scatter, hide or slow down the speed of the creature". Since the game has a permadeath function, you will have to play smart, otherwise you will have to start from scratch, because there is no save point.
Since the game has a procedurally generated environment, items, paths and rooms will change every time it is restarted-but it also means that the monsters are random.
The Junkfish team is currently making a sequel to the game, only this time, the monster is controlled by another player. Like its predecessor, it will also feature a horror maze created by the program. It is scheduled to be released in the fourth quarter of this year.
