combat system
Asmussen talks about five new fighting stances that we as Cal Kestis can use to go into battle. Depending on the type of opponent and the situation, we as players have to think about the best posture and choice of weapons, sometimes using several in a row in a skilful manner when there are masses of opponents. You can also fight in an unconventional way: with two lightsabers, for example, with a crossguard lightsaber like Kylo Ren, or with a lightsaber and blaster at the same time.
He is an unconventional Jedi and must resort to unconventional things.

companion
But even in Survivor we don’t have to fight our way through the big world alone. Also joining the party are BD-1, the little droid, and Cere Junda, Cal’s master.
A new addition is Bode Akuna, an AI companion who will help us in the fight and our journey in general. Cal forms a special connection with Bode over the course of the game and the two are said to be almost like brothers.
But there should not only be new friends: We also fight against a new – unspecified – hostile group.
travel opportunities
Since there is no fast travel system in Fallen Order and exploring the world can be quite tedious, we can travel much easier and faster in Survivor to explore the big world. The use of ascent cables should help us, and we can even tame and ride animals.
The missing fast travel function was one of Dimi’s few points of criticism in the Fallen Order test:

Test: The force is strong
A completely new planet was also invented for this world in the Star Wars universe, which should serve as a kind of testing ground – probably for the new mechanics, among other things.
When will Star Wars Jedi: Survivor be released?
On March 17, 2023 we can look forward to Survivor. In it, we slip back into the shoes of Cal Kestis, 5 years after the debut Fallen Order. Compared to Fallen Order, this time we have more Force abilities and lightsaber combat styles in our repertoire and explore an even larger world.
