If you have reserved the physical versions of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, then you have to know a small detail: they require a mandatory digital download on all platforms. We do not know what specific files will have to be downloaded (it will be automatic with an internet connection), but this is information that we have learned thanks to a Reddit post.
Neither Respawn Entertainment nor Electronic Arts, but a Reddit user named u/NightwingXII has shared a photograph in which we can see two physical copies, one from PS5 and another from Xbox Series X. On the front of the cover we can see the notice of “download required“.
Translation: “‘Download required’ for physical version?”
And what does this mean? Simple. That the physical copy of the game cannot be run as such once installed until we have downloaded the mandatory additional update
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor it will be released on April 28, 2023 for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X. We remind you that we already know when we will be able to pre-download the game and seeing the sizes and updates, you better start downloading it as soon as you can.
