Switch Online users will soon be able to snap up two classic NES classic games and two other SNES games debuting in the United States.
Those who have Switch online Subscription will have 4 new SENES games starting at February 19.
Two SNES games, Pop’n TwinBee and Smash Tennis, will be available for the first time in the United States. In addition to these two, there are NES classic "Shadow of the Ninja" and NES motorboat player Eliminator Boat Duel.
These additions expand the NES Switch Online library to 52 titles and the SNES library to 26 titles, providing a total of 78 classic games.
Here is more information about each title:
- Pop’n TwinBee (SNES) – The sixth game in the TwinBee series, this vertical scrolling shooter is played against a cute poppy flower background. TwinBee and WinBee heard that the great Dr Murdoch had lost his wisdom, so they set off to get him back to normal life. The game was originally released in Japan and Europe in 1993, but this will be its first release in the United States.
- Smash Tennis (SNES) – In Smash Tennis, the controls may be simple, but there is still plenty of room for skill! With strong shots, weak shots, high balls and eight different court types, you can develop a variety of methods to unlock the deep strategy of tennis. The game was originally released in Japan in 1993 and Europe in 1994, but this will be its first release in the United States.
- Shadow of the Ninja (NES) – During the turmoil and oppression, two shadow warriors caused the people to call for help. When the Iga clan infiltrates the enemy's front line, he chooses to play one of two ninja masters. Master stealth tactics as you gain extra weapons and energy items to overthrow the evil emperor and destroy the evil empire alone or with friends.
- Elimination of Ship Duel (NES) – In this motorboat racing game, drive one of the fastest machines on the water to earn a lot of in-game cash. The pilots have made thousands of dollars for the race and you will use your winnings to repair and upgrade your boat to maximize your competitive advantage. A little aggressive will go a long way-try to avoid sinking, otherwise you will swim back to the dry land.
All four games added this month will include multiplayer games.
