The original creator of System Shock Warren Spector also offered his thoughts on the original game and its influence. “Shodan seems too close to reality to me now,” Spector said.
“I’ve been into several games now that have a quality of prediction that I can’t predict, and System Shock is one of them. SHODAN is just around the corner from what I can tell. Let’s just hope she doesn’t” won’t be like 1994 That comes in nasty form. “
Spector served as the producer of the original title, which was produced by Mirrorbut is now working as a consultant on the remake at Nightdive.
The System Shock Remake may not have a release date just yet, but it did release a demo of the game’s opening last year, which you can still check out now.
