Game news Tandem A Tale of Shadows: A dark character-centric gameplay trailer
Still unknown to the general public, Tandem A Tale of Shadows, recently announced, continues its communication campaign with a new trailer and unpublished screenshots. The opportunity to set foot in its gloomy atmosphere is a bit tortured, but still promises an interesting level design.
The Hatinth Studio publishing house only lifted the veil in April last year Tandem A story of shadows, a brand new title of reflection and address, designed by Monolith Paris. We’re talking about a particularly dark adventure with sophisticated artistic direction, inspired by the universes of Jules Vernes, Conan Doyle and Tim Burton (pretty good references in and of themselves): we will play Emma, a determined and intelligent little girl, and Fenton, who is nothing more than a teddy bear we are told “eccentrically” about.
The two have to clear up the disappearance of Thomas Kane, son of a renowned wizarding family: To do this, they explore five dimensions and rely on a very original level design. Indeed, The game will be based on two perspectives: one with a colored top camera for Emma and the other with a 2D side view, black and white, for Fenton. Together they have to solve puzzles and use tact to avoid the many traps and disgusting monsters that stand in their way.
So we got a brand new trailer that focuses on the gameplay of these two protagonists. Just over a minute to catch the first cogs in this gameplay while soaking up some of the atmosphere … almost nasty.
Tandem A story of shadows will be released this year 2021 on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch : A playable demo will be available on Steam June 16-22.
