Ted Lasso’s football team AFC Richmond will play FIFA 23.
Football clubs will be available for career mode, kickoffs, online friendlies and online seasons.
You’ll also get several AFC Richmond items when you unlock in FIFA Ultimate Team and Pro Clubs (where applicable), including jerseys, manager items and more.
Jason Sudeikis’ Ted Lasso will be available in Career Mode as an optional manager for AFC Richmond, or for any team of your choice. If you’re not a fan, you can also create your own manager or choose a real-world authorized manager to control AFC Richmond, or create a player and join an AFC Richmond team in a league of your choice.
Nelson Road, the iconic home of AFC Richmond, will also be featured in FIFA 23.

Relevant content in FUT and Pro Clubs will be delivered through goals, challenges and rewards designed to be achievable from launch. This includes Ted Lasso and Coach Beard manager items, AFC Richmond jerseys and other FUT club and stadium vanity items, including badges, flags, etc. In addition, Nelson Road Stadium is also included in the Pro Club.
Developed by EA Vancouver and EA Romania, FIFA 23 will be available worldwide on September 30 on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. Early access to FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition will begin on September 27.
