Previously it was not possible to play Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Cowabunga Collection with arcade controllers. Konami has finally eliminated this fact with a patch. But that is only part of the innovations that the update brings with it.
This year hasn’t just been wonderful for fans of beat-’em-ups. Fans of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were also delighted. The mutated turtles had two appearances. On the one hand in the surprise hit Shredder’s Revenge, on the other hand with the Cowabunga Collection. The latter includes a whopping eleven classics, from arcade titles to NES brawlers to Game Boy and SNES games.

However, the collection had a problem for all die-hard beat-’em-up players: it didn’t offer support for arcade sticks and similar controllers. This circumstance changes with the first major patch that Konami has now released. The update also brings various improvements to the online modes, with Turtles in Time receiving a lot of love. With future patches, the network features of the Manhattan Project are also to be revised.
