The Scott Pilgrim makers of Tribute Games have a new beat ’em up in the pipeline. Finally it’s back to: Cawabunga, baby!

Cawabunga, baby – the Turtles are back! With Shredder’s Revenge, there’s a real nostalgic leg roasted over. Behind the just announced Beat ’em up are the makers of the comic flogger Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (for our test) with Tribute Games. So we can look forward to comic fights par excellence again!

Finally we can go back to battle with the Turtles against Krang and Shredder. As publisher Dotemu just announced, we can choose from our favorite toads and use our ninja skills in different pixel art environments. With up to four players – how could it be otherwise – the Foot-Clan and their nasty Obermotz Shredder are upset.

The story should also provide a lot of nostalgia. The musclemen Rocksteady and Bebop have attacked Channel 6, which of course promptly calls our four favorite mutants onto the scene. In addition to the TV station of our best Turtle friend April O’Neil, we should be able to free many well-known places of the iconic 80s series of minions. Our four pizza lovers should even end up in the X dimension.

For a lot of vintage vibes, the developers use pixel art graphics, which are intended to pay homage to the cult TV series from 1987. If you want to get an impression of the style, we have added a first trailer and first screenshots for you. Unfortunately, we don’t yet know when exactly TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge will be released, but the very impatient can expect the green mutants to come across theirs Steam wishlist pack.
