Microsoft wears the charity pants for Pride Month. Currently you can get Tell Me Why from the creators of Life is Strange Dontnod Entertainment for free in the Microsoft Store, for PC and Xbox. You have until June 30th to get the game for free.
The adventure revolves around twins Tyler and Alyson, who reunite after ten years in the idyllic Alaskan town of Delos Crossing and explore dark events in their childhood. The French developer Dontnod, who already initiated unusual themes with the Lifeis Strange games, is taking a big risk with Tell Me Why.
For the first time in a video game outside of small indie productions, you play alongside Alyson and her brother as a transgender character. To ensure that this ambitious step does not backfire, the studio attached great importance to authenticity. Among other things, the makers were advised by the LGBTQ association GLAAD.
Tell Me Why is the gripping new story from Xbox Game Studios Dontnod Entertainment, which also brought to life the award-winning Life is Strange. The first chapter will be released on August 27th and there is a new trailer for it.
