The Re-Logic team is celebrating because the success of Terraria, as has communicated that its popular title has exceeded 35 million units sold. This means that during the last year the amount has increased by 5 million more, since in April 2020 it was revealed that had reached 30 million.
No doubt the fact that Terraria being on multiple platforms has also gone a long way towards achieving these impressive numbers. To be clearer, the company has broken down these figures, indicating that 17.2 million copies correspond to the PC version, while the others belong to the mobile version with 9.3 million and those for consoles with 8.5 million.
And the good news for the study does not end there, because it has also reported that, according to the Steam250 website
Looking ahead, Re-Logic already has a few new features in mind. For example, the Journey’s End update will arrive on consoles this year and it is expected to incorporate the cross-play function so that users of all platforms can play together.
Nor should we forget that Terraria at last came to Stadia last week after the mess that was between its creator and Google. So maybe in a while we will see the company again celebrating a new sales record.
