This campaign is intended to draw attention to anyone who didn’t know that you can also use a so-called supercharger as a non-Tesla driver. As part of a winter special offer, you can now charge any electric car for free, and Tesla will pay the bill.

You need a Tesla account to do this, you have to download the free Tesla app onto your smartphone and set up an account. This account must not have been used before.
In order to use the account, you must provide your valid credit card details. Your creditworthiness will then be checked with a test transfer. You also don’t need to worry if charges are shown on the Supercharger display or in the app while charging. After the charging process has ended, these should be reset to zero dollars.
